ERT2 is Environmental Restoration Technology Transfer.
These Web-based training tools are produced by the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC), which is a division of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC).
What is the purpose of these Web tools?
The purpose of these tools is to enhance technology transfer efforts within the Navy environmental restoration community. The tools are meant to support Navy Remedial Project Managers by providing information on various contaminant and technology issues.
Why can’t I download these Web tools?
NMCI users may experience difficulty when attempting to download the T2 Web Tools. This is probably due to an older version of Macromedia Flash running on the operating system. The training tools require Macromedia Flash 6.0, and will not download with an earlier version of Flash. You will need to place a call to the NMCI Help Desk and request that they download Flash 6.0 on your system. The Navy approves the use of Macromedia Flash 6.0 and it is listed on the Gold Disk.
How can I get the tools to fit to my screen?
The tools are optimized for display resolutions with 1024 X 768 or higher. To change the display resolution setting on your computer, please right-click on your desktop and select "Properties" from the menu. Then select the "Settings" tab on the Display Properties dialog box. Select a screen resolution which is 1024 by 768 pixels or greater and select "OK".

Each tool is formatted so that you can highlight, copy, and paste the text from each page of the tool into Microsoft Word or an equivalent word processing program.
Can I request a tool focusing on a topic that I’m interested in?
Yes. Please provide feedback about what tools you would like to see in the future on any of the individual feedback forms located in each tool, or contact the NAVFAC ESC T2 Point of Contact at 805-982-1656 or email at PRTH_NFESCT2@navy.mil.
